Stromae - Recine Carre Tour

Hello everyone!

I've been SO busy doing Christmas related stuff and packing cause I'm gonna leave in few days but I just wanted to show you one of the craziest night of this year!
On Dec. 17th I went to the amazing show of Stromae. If you don't already know him, I'll post you some pics and just one of his amazing songs and videos, cause yeah, one of the most wonderful things about him are also his music videos!

For those who know him, here is the set list of the show I went to:

Ta fête
Bâtard
Peace or Violence
Te quiero
Tous les mêmes
Ave Cesaria
Quand c'est ?
Moules frites
Formidable
Carmen
Humain à l'eau
Alors on danse
Encore:
Papaoutai
Merci
Tous les mêmes (a capella)

The show was REALLY one of the best I've ever been to!
The digital scenography was truly amazing and everything was so unespected that you couldn't get bored of anything!
He's just amazing as person, as an artist, really great singer and amazing dancer..
I was just mesmerized and I didn't wanted to ever end!
He was so nice and sweet with us and can't wait to see him live again. I couldn't ever imagine all the things we seen that night; it was magical and we had a lot of fun!
If you don't know him very well, please, go search some live performances and, trust me, he won't let you down!
Here are some pics I made with my phone cause I couldn't bring with me my camera; of course videos are way better but I also wanted to post some pics.

So I really hope you liked this post as an update of my life and maybe I helped you discover another big artist!
Know I'm going to have a bath with my lush bomb and I hope you'll have a great evening too!

P.S. IT'S NEARLY CHRISTMAS!!!

love you.
xx

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Yesterday I went to a shopping centre just few minutes cause I had to buy some baubles for my Christmas tree and I felt very very festive watching all the Christmas decorations of the stores so, as soon as I came home, I decorated my Christmas tree. My fav time of the year is really coming and I couldn't be more happy about it!! I just can't wait to see all the Christmas lights and decorations in the streets and can't really wait for my finals to end so I will have my mind off all thi anxiety and only think about Christmas!

How are you spending these days? Is your Christmas tree already settled and lighted up? Have the streets of your cities already been decorated? Let me know in the comments and post some pictures, maybe, so I can see.

Have a nice evening. Also thanks everyone for reading my blog and being so sweet in the comments.

My Winter Essentials: General Stuff

Hello everyone!

I hope you're doing great! It's just a rainy day here so what a perfect occasion to write another blog post! Yay!

*music on, problems off*

Here I am with the second part of this "Winter Essentials" mini series, about the other general stuff I always have with me during winter!

So let's get started with the "being at home" side:

First thing first (oh, Iggy, your song is haunting my head right now) what I really really reeeally can't wait to have with me since it starts to get cold are scented candles. What a news! Haha
As you may or may not know, I am a huge fan of candles every day of the year but especially in winter cause (I don't know if it's just me) I think that they "do the magic"; as soon as I light up a candle, everything seems to be more soft and calm and relaxing and "home". The brands I like the most are Yankee Candle, Jo Malone (even if they're so expensive it hurts), Primark ones are really really good but I also love IKEA ones, not that great for the packaging but still so nice. When it comes to candles, I almost love everything; I just need to smell them! If they're nice, they'll end up in my shopping basket in a second.

Other thing that I love to wear when I'm home in a day off or just for bedtime are onesies!! I mean, who doesn't love them? (maybe some of our boyfriends as this is not the sexiest thing you could wear). They are cosy and soft and funny and just as comfy as wearing a second skin all over you. With the difference that the skin your covered into is in a rabbit shape or cat or sheep or whatever :) The one I'm loving at the moment is this one that I bought few weeks ago in Primark; it's a sheep and it's so cozy and warm and soft that I could totally live in this thing for like.. forever.

Then I must mention one of the things I love more: lights!! As soon as it starts to get colder and near Christmas (which, to me, is like in november haha) I always like to surround myself with little lights. I use lights for inside my bedroom and I just put them all around my bed so, as it gets dark, I just love to turn the little lights on and read a book or watching a movie. Everything suddenly gets more christmassy and beautiful. I could leave them for the rest of the months, not only at Christmas.

And then, when it comes to rainy days and staying at home, I just love having hot drinks like Hot Chocolate with mini marshmellows on top and, of course, tea. I don't have a favourite hot chocolate brand (what are yours?) cause on top of everything I will always put Costa Hot Chocolate! Winner! For tea, instead, I could spend days and days mentioning teas and brands (I am slightly obsessed with tea as you may have noticed hehe) but I gotta mention Clippers, Yogi Tea and Whittingtons tea. They have so many different kind of teas or infuses and I really love almost every flavour but in winter time I just enjoy having a lot of Chai!

And now, let's go outside!!

I will now be obvious, but I have to mention cozy jumpers!! I usually spend warm months waiting for the "sweather weather" time of the year again cause I loove sweaters! I really like the slightly oversized ones in plain colours and the rule here is "softer is better"!

Then as I am the worst person at resist the winter without getting ill and also I am one of those annoying people that is always cold, I need to take out with me a good coat, a scarf and a beanie/bobble hat! I always liked those people that can go out in December with only a jumper on.. I.. I just NEED extra warm. By the way I personally think that a nice coat, a scarf or a hat are really great items for making an outfit even more "on point"! Imagine going out with just a shirt and then going out with a nice shirt, nice coat on and a patterned scarf on.. They totally make the difference!

I will also need a hand cream and a lipbutter with me as cold is not a skin friend. And, just a trick, I always have with me one of those weird gelly things where you just drop a little metallic thing that is inside of it and the gel starts warming up.. I don't even know how to call them (if you know the name, please tell me in the comments so I can use it instead of this crappy description in the future) but my dad once bought me and since then I always loved them cause you'll never know how cold would be outside and you have to be prepared, right?
And then, at the end, I put the thing that goes with every season and every weather, both home and outside: music. I just need music everyday as I need to breathe. I usually put my headphones on (like now), turn on some music and suddenly everything's better and everything seems to be fine. Music helps, it really does.

This was everything I guess. I really hope you liked it; if you did, leave a lovely comment down below (I always enjoy reading them) and I will see you on the next post!

Have a great night! Let the stars shine on your dreams!

My Winter Essentials: Skin

Hello lovelies!

As the winter months have definitely crept up on us, I thought it would be nice to show you my winter essentials; things I always need and enjoy during the cold months!

I'll be doing few posts with different subjects, so let's start with SKIN!
I definitely have dry skin (except for some parts of my face); and of course, cold makes my skin a lot more sensitive and dry.

So.. starting from the face, all I need it a good moisturizer; the one I've been loving recently it's the Bionike Defence Hydra5 that I bought at my local pharmacy after they gave me a little sampler. It's really amazing and works very well on my skin! It's really "light" and it doesn't make you feel oily after putting it on and this is great cause I really hate those creams that make your skin oily or that are too thick.

Moving on the eyes, shame on me, I don't use eyecream :( this is just cause I can't find a good one, so please write me in the comments what you use so I can give it a go. I feel I really need one these days as I don't sleep well and my eyes are always so dry cause of studying and windy days. Ugh.

It's now hands turn! I ALWAYS have cold hands, no matter what. haha so I usually carry around my hand cream in my bag and the one I'm loving at the moment is the Neutrogena handcream. It is reallt amazing! You can really feel the difference after applying it cause it leaves your hands so so soft and the smell is so nice that I really enjoying applying it over and over.

For the body side, how can I not mention The Body Shop? hehe
In fact the product I love the most from this brand and the thing I always enjoy using (and, to be honest, smelling too!) is Body Butter! They're so rich and great, you can really feel they are working on your skin and, omg, they smell like heaven! The one I'm in love with right now is the Papaya one, which I also put in my September Favourites post [here]

And now my favourite part: lips!
As we all know, cold makes our lips a lot dry so we all need a great lipbutter! And my favourite at the moment is the Labello one in Vanilla&Macadamia. It's great and, again, it smells amazing! I really love Labello's lipbutters and my fav used to be the original one with the blue packaging cause I think it's the most moisturizing one but now that it came up with these new ones in the lil pot, I must say that are my new favourites from the brand!
And second product that is in my fav list since many years now, it's the Lush lip scrub! I really love them so much; I love Lush and their store concept and even if I think the price is still a bit high for what, in the end, it is (sugar, oil, colouring and flavouring mainly) I think it worths the money. It leaves your lips very soft and, as it's made of sugar, you can apply it and then lick it off! And, again, it smells amazing (and taste amazing as well hehe)! My favourite is the Bubblegum one but I can't wait to try the Christmas one which is called Santa's Lip Scrub!

So here are my Skin related Winter Essentials! What are yours? Have you ever tried one of these things? Do you have other brand's favourites? Let me know in the comments so I can check them out!

See you on the nex post!

November favourites ♡

Helloo everyone!

As it's December, here's my November favourites post! I tried to make everything more "festive" haha I failed lol
But anyway.. Enjoy! :)

First thing I've been looooving is this Garnier BB cream  in light! I really like the coverage, the colour fits very well my pale skin, it looks natural once applied and as it's for combination to oily skin, it's quite mat and once dried it really looks great! Just saying it doesn't make my skin dry even if I have such a dry skin especially in the T zone and that is a winner for me.. cause it's not that easy to find a good mat foundation or bb cream that doesn't make my skin look a lot dry.
So yeah, if you haven't tried it, give it a go! :)

Second item is the famous and most loved brush of all time; the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush! I bought it and been using all over November and I've been loving it so much that I can't really wait to buy more brushes from Real Techniques. Now I know why everybody loves it, basically!

And now another item everyone has been talkin about and that I've been using only now. It's the Bourjois Bronzer! It's perfect for light skins, really blendable, warms up your face colour very nicely and can we just take a minute to contemplate the packaging? .. it's like a chocolate inside! Brilliant!

On the lips side I have been LOOOOVING, the Matte lip bullet from Topshop in More than a woman.. I unfortunately think it's sold out cause I can't find it on the site but if you run into you near topshop and find it, just grab it! (And grab another one for me, please! I can't live without him and I can't find it where I live!)
It's just a perfect autumnal shade, like a plumy-browny-red. Just the shade I've been searching for months! And it's a mat one but with a nice hidrating formula. Amazing, I just love Topshop make up line!

Last, but not least.. This really nice Illamasqua cream blusher in Laid! It looks so gorgeous! It's not that easy to blend so I suggest to use a brush and applying it gently, but beside that, it's a very very nice colour!

So these are the things I've been using and loving during November! I hope you liked it and let me know in the comment if you have any of these stuff and what do you think about 'em.
I send you a big hug and.. se you on the next post!

Liebster Award

                         Hello lovelies!

Thank you Celiza for nominating me for the Liebster Award; I've never done one before so I think it will be nice! :) Be sure to check out her lovely blog after reading this post!

The rules of The Liebster Award:

1. thank the person who nominated you, and post a link to their blog on your blog.
2. display the award on your blog — by including it in your post and/or displaying it using a “widget” or a “gadget”. (Note that the best way to do this is to save the image to your own computer and then upload it to your blog post.)

4. provide 11 random facts about yourself.
5. nominate 5 – 11 blogs that you feel deserve the award, who have a less than 1000 followers. (Note that you can always ask the blog owner this since not all blogs display a widget that lets the readers know this information!)
6. create a new list of questions for the blogger to answer.
7. list these rules in your post (You can copy and paste from here.) Once you have written and published it, you then have to:
8. Inform the people/blogs that you nominated that they have been nominated for the Liebster award and provide a link for them to your post so that they can learn about it (they might not have ever heard of it!)

Here are 11 random facts about me:

1. I'm short
2. I have small head, hands, feet (I feel like a monster right now) haha
3. When I like a song I play it repeatedly (I could listen to it for hrs and hrs) till I get sick or find a new fav one.
4.I am very fast in packing; I think I’m just used to it, so it’s easier for me.
5.I can't wait to have my own house cause I love decorating things and places
6.I'd love to live by the sea
7.I have a little sister
8.I'm pale
9.Christmas is my fav holiday
10.I love rain
11.I want to visit Japan so bad

And here are the questions provided by the lovely Celiza!

1. Have you ever been in love?

I'm not even sure what is love.. I think I have been in love once, but I'm not sure it was the real love.

2. Why did you start blogging?

I always wanted to have a blog, to share feelings and stuff with someone. I just really enjoy writing and as I always do it on a diary I tought it would be nice do it on the internet as well, sharing bits of my life with readers, but also with me; I think a blog is a sort of a diary and I love that.

3. Do you have any siblings?

Yes, I have a little sister. But I wish I had an older brother too.

4. What do you value most in life?

There are a lot of things I value in life, but above all I put respect: I think the most important thing is showing respect and being kind one to another cause you'll never 100% know what the other one is going through and also never know someone's sensibility. Also respect of the planet in which we live.

5. Where do you see yourself in 10 years? 20 years?

Woah, this is hard. I can't imagine myself and tell what I'll be like but I wish I'll be happy. I hope I will have a nice job I love, feel satisfied and proud of me and of course in 20 years I wish I will be married and have a baby.

6. Do you like meeting new people?

Yes, I do. Especially if they are funny, nice, with same passions and can understand me.

7. What is your favorite month?

I think December.

8. Would you rather be invisible or read people minds?

Uhm I think invisibility would be much funnier! But I'd love to read people minds sometimes.. even if it could hurt so much, it would be a good think when you don't know if someone is lying at you or not.

9. Favorite childhood memory?

I have a lot. But now I can only think about when I used to spend all my afternoons at my grandma's and she teached me how to make cookies and homemade pasta.

10. Have you accomplished your 'bucket list for 2014'?

Unfortunately not everything. I didn't like 2014 that much to be honest, but of course nice things happened and one of these is this blog :)

11. What do you usually do after a bad day?

I just like to have a hot bath, light some candles, wrap myself in cozy clothes, drink a hot tea and just chill with some music on or read a book or watch a movie.

I really enjoed this tag and I hope you did too!

Here are my nominees:

Leah and Rachel

And everyone who reads this blog, if you'll do it, tag me in your posts!

Questions:

1. Why did you choose that blog name and will you ever change it?

2.Will you ever open a youtube channel?
3.How old are you?
4.What's your dream job?
5.If you could close your eyes and be in another city, which one would it be?
6.What is your favourite thing to do in your spare time?
7.Favourite man actor?
8.Summer or winter?
9.Do you prefer shopping on your own or with friends?
10.Favourite lipstick colour?
11.Do you like paiting your nails or you're too lazy to do it?

Looking forward to see your answers.

Have a lovely afternoon and..

Happy December!
