Spin for Perfect Skin | VP | Review

Hello everybody

It's been a while, my messy life brought me away from the webbernet for a bit but now I am ready to start dedicationg more time to the things I love, again.
I hope you're doing well and I hope you are excited as me for this season cause the most beautiful time of the year is so close!!

But why am I here today? To talk about my new best friend which is the Spin For Perfect Skin by Vanity Planet which was kindly sent to me for try and review and that has been my bff ever since it came in my mail box!

First of all let's see what it is. Spin for pefect skin is a cleansing and exfoliating brush battery powered system that cleanses and exfoliates to reveal radiant skin, removes bacteria to promote visibly clearer skin and reduces pore size so skin appears smoother and brighter.
With the kit you have the brush and four attachment heads that are great for face and body.
This big one is the body brush, I love the fact that there's an actual brush specifically made for body so you can extend the benefit of a deep cleaning to your entire body. I use it combined with a light sugar scrub and it's perfect size for arms and legs. Don't need to say that my skin feels amazingly soft after that! The brush is made for dry and shower usage so you can easily use it under the shower or having a bath :)

Then we have the exfoliating face brush made of hygianic and quick-drying bristles that is great for gently exfoliate your skin once you have wipes you make up off and cleaned your face with the clensing brush (next picture) made of ultra-soft bristles that is great for sensitive skin; I use it to cleanse and also to apply moisturizer and it feels really great. These two combined make my skin breathe again and you can really tell the difference both in the appearance of the skin and in the make up application cause it gives you a smooth and radiant skin.

Last but not least I was surprised to see that there was a pumice stone head! This is great to remove calluses and dead skin from you elbows, knees and feet. Of course is not made for facial skin but I was glad to see that there was a pomice stone too in the set cause it really meand that, with this brush, you can clean you entire body.

With the brush at the moment I am using the Robert's Acqua alle Rose cleanser but you can use you favourite products to use with.
I honestly didn't expect it to be this good but I am 100% happy with it and I will use it everyday as my skin has changed in better!

If you would like to try it too and make yourself or one of your friends a gift, I have a
discount code for you; when you type
SPINQUEEN
at the checkout you will have a 70% off your brush and it will only cost you $30 instead of $100!
Such a great deal!

I hope you liked and enjoyed my review, let me know in the comments if you use this kind of brush and if you like it. Also let me know what cleansers and moisturizers you are using cause I am always looking for new ones to try!

Hope you have a cozy evening and see you on my next post!

My Fav Autumn/Fall Lipsticks [Lip Swatches]

Hello lovelies!

As you can see from the title, I decided to share with you what are my favourite lipsticks for fall/autumn as I am so in love with this season I need to share everything about it! hehe

As you can tell, I couldn't choose just two or three haha but that's fine cause at least you can see a variety of colors and shades and decide which one is you favourite or what would be your choice o wear.

So from top to down (on the arm swatches) we have:

  • Rimmel Kate Moss 111
  • Rimmel Kate Moss 107
  • NYX medusa
  • NABLA domina
  • TOPSHOP lip bullet in More Than A Woman
  • KIKO smart lipstick in 914
  • MAC mehr
  • Essence 06 Barely There

First one I have here is the Essence in 06 - Barely There
It's a perfect everyday mauve shade, perfect Pantone - marsala colour. It is very moisturizing and feels like you're putting on lip balm: as it's like that, it doesn't last very long but, again, it's fine cause reapplying it is so easy.

Second one on the "nudes/everyday shades" side, is on of my favourite mac lipsticks which is mehr
I don't have a lot to say, it's is matte but doesn't dry my lips, it is the perfect my lips but better colour, lasts ages even when eating/drinking and it is just perfect for an everyday simple look and also for darks and intense smoky eyes looks.

Let's jump straight into the darks and intense colours which are my favourite!
This one here is NYX medusa, it is really purple, it is shiny so that means it is moisturizing but doesn't set on the lips all day, it is a bit metallic but I think it's a great colour for this season if you want your lips to really stand out.

Here we have KIKO 914 smart lipstick; moisturizing but long lasting (it won't resist a whole dinner but it lasts a really long time on me), the colour is full and it is the perfect dupe for MAC rebel
More on the cherry side but, again, great great easy to wear colour!

This one I get asked A LOT about and it's personally one of my top favourites!
It's the TOPSHOP lip bullet in More Than A Woman. I have been loving it ever since I first swatched it! Topshop beauty range is really good and I especially love the lipsticks, lasts a long time, it's is matte but doesn't dry on the lips and doesn't go into fine lines, the colour is even and full and it is basicallt autumn in a lipstick.

Really similar to the topshop one is the NABLA domina lipstick. Same things as the topshop one, it is really perfect: I love the colour, I love the formula, it is also vegan and cruelty free and lasts really long time even eating/drinking. Really moisturizing and it is buildable and gets darker and darker looking always even. The finish is semi-matt!

Last, but not least, we have the reds!
How I could not mention this one here? The Rimmel Kate Moss in 107 has been one of my fav lipsticks to wear since years. It is matte, lasts really long, the colour is amazing, it goes with every skin tone I believe, looks great with a lot of eye makeup looks, it is cheap and it's the perfect dark red/burgundy shade. Simply a MUST HAVE!

And for the Rimmel Kate Moss obsession we have the 111 which is a beautiful cool toned true red, matte, long lasting, the classic Taylor Swift red. You can't really feel it on the lips and the smell of the matte collection is so lovely too, it's like fruity. If you fancy a red lipstick and don't know which one to choose, just buy this one cause it is really good and cheap and it won't let you down for sure!

So I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know in the comments if you have one of these, what is your favourite and, please please, if you have your own fav shade write it down below so I  can check it out as I am constantly in search for new lipsticks and shades!
Let's be bffs and swap tips about lipsticks and autumnal shades! :)

Hope you're having a lovely day and I will see you on my next post!

lots of love

Pawsome box - Make your dog happy! :)

    Hello everyone!

It's a very hot Sunday but I am here today to talk about that lovely thing that is dog subscription box and, in particular, about Pawsome one!

So, in mid June my dog's (Genny) first box came in and we were so excited! First of all cause the delivery was really fast (they dispatch the boxes around the 15th of the month and it was here not late than June 17th so wow!), then cause the box looked so so lovely and then, of course, cause of all the amazing things inside!

First of all, for those who don't know what a subscription box is, that is a monthly plan delivery in which, for £19.99 a month, you will have in your box pieces worth up to £30 that include toys, snacks and utilities all choosen with care and considering your dog's breed/size/age!
Is it also good to discover new brands and let your dog try new things :)

So here are some pics of the package and what was inside our June box
    {click the link to see better all the lovely items that were inside this box!}

My dog is so happy with her subscription box and adores all the toys and snacks!
I am so so glad I found powsome box cause they are really PAWESOME! :)

I really hope this helped you and if you have a furry friend and like the idea of a box that came into your house every month full of great things then go for it! You can, of course, unsubscribe whenever you want! :)

Me and my dog wish you a lovely day! If you have questions about this or anything just ask me!
See you on the next post!

W7 make up haul & review

    Hello lovelies

Here I am today with a haul/review on some stuff that W7 has kindly sent me!
Here's the bunch of things; I got:
    • The argan oil lip balm
    • The Thick em up mascara
    • The king kohl eye pencil in black
    • The camouflage concealer kit
    • The in the mood palette
Let's start with the review of every single item :)

Let's start with the thing I was more excited to try and actually the thing I loved the most: in the mood palette!
I heard so many things about it and I am so happy I had the chance to try it!

The palette has 6 eyeshadows, all in natural/nude colours, one shimmer and the other ones matte.
As you may notice is the perfect dupe for the Naked Basics palette by Urban Decay.
I compared them down here and I must day that they are pretty the same. W7 shadows are so pigmented, they last pretty well and colours are vibrant just like the UD ones.
UD ones are, of course, more buttery and easy to blend and they last a bit longer but, for the price, W7 ones are really amazing! I recommend you to buy this as it's a great palette and would be a perfect item to travel with!

(right swaches are w7's and left are UD's)

Then let's talk about the camouflage kit.. As a camouflage kit I was expecting a great coveage but I was, unfortunately, wrong. The palette has 5 shades of creamy concealers; some of them are peachy (under eyes circles) and others are more beige (face) but the problem is not just the fact that they don't match my pale skin, but the fact that they don't cover at all :(
I have tried them many times but they just give a bit of colour but actually nothing in terms of coverage. I am so sad cause it would have been great to have a palette like this with a great amout of shades just in one place. Unfortunately I do not recommend this to you! Meh :(

The it's the argan oil lip balm! It's a normal lip balm, packed like a lipstick!
It's of course transparent but I am actually surprised about it! I thought it would have done nothing to my super dry lips but I actually liked it and I am using it a lot! It probably doesn't have the greatest inci but it does the job and I am difficult to please when it comes to lip balms. It's not the best but, I mean, if you want to try a different lip balm, this is quite nice. And it smells lovely.

Other thing I liked is the eye pencil. It reminds me of the UD ones in the packaging but UD ones are more creamy and soft, this one is more "dry" but stays on pretty well, it's carbon black so I liked it! I didn't use it in the waterline and I don't think it would be great used there but it lasted pretty nice on the lid! Again, it's so so so cheap so.. nice for that! :)

Last one is probably the thing that disappointed me the most cause I was expecting a lot from this but actually is the thing I would less recommend :( It's not the mascara itself, the formula it's a but liquidy but It's a great black and dries well..the problem is the applicator. It's pure p l a s t i c; rigid one! It's awful and as it's so rigid it tends to stain the lid :( So I don't recommend it! I head great thing about the others w7 mascaras like the Bunny Lash but this.. just no. :(

Hope this review was helpful! Have you ever tried something from W7? I am so impressed by the palette and I can't wait to try the other ones as they seem cool dupes! Let me know if you have these and what you like from the brand so I can check em out!

See you on my next post!
    love you!

    JCat beauty Liptitude 24/7

    Good afternoon lovelies

Here I am with a review + swatches on the new lip products by the brand Jcat! They have came out with a new product range called Liptitude 24/7 Hydrating lip stains that covers a good variety of shades from nudes, to hot pinks, to orange to dark reds and that is made to be pulled off with attitude!

The colours are SO bright, application is amazingly even and pigmentation is incredible.
Thet do have a minty scent which is not great if you don't like minty scents but, of course, it will go away from your lips once dried. The finish is pretty lucid, you just need a tiiiny bit to cover your entire lips and they stay pretty hydrating on the lips so you will not feel them dry once is up.
They last on me pretty well, something from 4 (the nudes) to 5 hours (the other ones). They stain your lips a bit so you will need a waterproof/stronger make up remover to gently take the colour off your lips. Their price is ridiculously small and you get A LOT of product! Inside the applicator is like the one of a lipgloss and the thick formula makes it easy to apply even with the same applicator.
I basically love them and I think their colours are great for this season! :)

Here are the swatches on my lips ( don't mind my face in these hahah lolz)
so you can get the idea of the actual colour on the lips :)

    Colours shown:
    110 [pale beige nude]
    109 [pale pinky nude]
    102 [bright orange]
    105 [hot corally pink]
    104 [true red]

I really hope you like this post and that I helped you in some way! If you was thinking of buying them then just go for it, they are really great items to have in your collection and they also are great for making ombre lips or lips art as they're like acrilic on the lips! :)

I wish you a lovely day and I will see you soon on my next post!

    Much love
